- I just downloaded thor and gave it a wack. Spent 20 minutes and it seems
- pretty confusing to me. I've configured PC's running Windows 3.1, OS/2
- Warp, and Linux with virtually no trouble.
-
- I think I almost had it going though. It would ask for "socket.library"
- every time I tried to connect to a server. I believe the Amitcp socket
- library is called bsdsocket.library.
-
- Maybe thor would be better if it started out asking for the system type
- first and walked you through from their. For example: ask if you want to
- configure using Amitcp or UUCP. You pick Amitcp. Then ask for servers,
- user names etc.
-
- Thor appears to assume the average Joe is familiar with the terminology
- like the author.
